Modern education often focuses on testing and analyzing kids like machines. They measure memory, thinking, and willpower with experiments. While this "science" stuff might be interesting, it doesn't really help us understand kids as whole people.

If all we do is analyze kids from the outside with tests and experiments, we will forget who they really are. Imagine trying to understand a flower by just pulling off its petals and leaves!
